Hi! My name is Kiara Elizabeth, and I’m a concert and portrait photographer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
I got my first DSLR camera for my fifteenth birthday and have been a practicing photographer for over 6 years. I went to a vocational high school where I studied all different kinds of photography.
I got to work with models and beauty school students looking to fill their portfolios, which is where my love of portrait photography was developed. But it was my experiences outside of the classroom that led to my love for candid and concert photography.
I fell in love with concert photography in the summer of 2022 after bringing my camera to a local festival. In the summer of 2024, I started a new job with a lot more flexibility, which allowed me to start taking photography seriously. I applied to multiple publications, and in August that year, I started contributing to an online magazine as well as a local magazine centered on local music. Since then, I've gotten press passes to multiple concerts and was part of a media team for a local festival.
I love music, and I love photography, and being able to combine the two feels like I'm finally doing something right, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me.
